Hey, how’s it going? So this latest post was my second Bingham wedding in the last six months. It’s a gorgeous boutique hotel on the River Thames in Richmond and as I’ve probably said before, it is a photographers dream to work there. However, this time, the wedding at The Bingham was the icing on the cake on what was an eventful day. Sam and Gary had everything planned down to the minutest detail. The cermony was in the morning at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham, from there we walked to York House Gardens for the first portrait session, while the guests walked to The White Swan pub on the river for some drinks and food. We had a great shoot, but perhaps the highlight was a heron fishing a huge eel out of the pond, luckily for the eel, he was too wriggly for the heron and managed to squirm his way back into the water out of harms way! The bride and groom looked fantastic and heron aside, we got some wonderful shots. We joined the rest of the guests at The White Swan and then after that me, Sam and Gary and Callum (videographer) went in a taxi up to Richmond Hill for the second part of the portrait session. As a Richmond wedding photographer it’s great to take shots of happy couples on the hill as it’s one of the most breathtaking sceneries you’ll see in England, made famous by Turner, and as a local resident, I feel lucky to live here, shotting on the Hill is the epitome of Richmond wedding photography. Walking down to The Bingham we also took some photographs on the riverside at the back of the venue. The guests had arrived by the time we’d finished, (my colleague Jenny took some fun shots of them getting on the London bus) and that’s when the party began! I love photographing weddings at The Bingham, so if you’ve got your wedding there and you like my photos, please get in touch!
